SATURDAY AND SUNDAY!! it is going to be amazing. make a list of all the questions or concerns you have and listen to them all get answered while you listen :)  9am (AZ time) saturday and sunday 1pm (AZ time) saturday and sunday 5pm (AZ time) saturday only watch it at churchofjesuschrist.org :)   * we almost bought a beta fish. but then we didn't. because we are broke missionaries & didn't realize how experience it is to raise a fish * have you ever eaten a banana topped with condensed milk and whipped cream?! you must * taught brisa the plan of salvation & she loved it <3 i just love teaching so much i wish that was all we did ughhh. teaching people about the gospel of Jesus Christ literally brings me the greatest and deepest joy i have ever experienced. that is one ...

Week 36: Arizona: "oh look! it's the missionaries😄"

feliz lunes!! this week was wonderful, and you all probably think im lying or hiding something because i pretty much say that every week, but i promise you i am not. the mission is just so good. so good.  here are some things that happened: * we got a call from Anne on Tuesday. she was extremely distressed and told us that she just wasn't ready to commit and couldn't keep meeting with us. it was so sad because she literally loves reading the Book of Mormon and has a testimony of temples and we wanted so badly to help her to prepare to enter the temple to perform baptisms for her ancestors. we will be reaching out in a few months, but it is just so annoying how the adversary is working against us. * we had zone conference which was a spiritual feastttt as always. the theme was developing Christ-centered relationships with our districts, companions, friends, and ward members! * we had exchanges on Tuesday so i spent the day with sis harward! we biked around for a ...

hello there beautiful people!!  pretty normal week with the usual ups & downs!  * we studied the Book of Mormon with Brsia this week looking for the Character of Christ. teaching someone with no religious background has been such a special experience because we are literally introducing her to Jesus Christ which is so amazing. she told us she wants us to start meeting with her daughter too so YAY! * THERE WERE 12 PEOPLE AT ENGLISH CLASS!! * hna horton cut my hair hehe snip snip * sis wilkins (one of our roommates) went to pastry school before her mission and so she made these bomb tapioca flour sugar cookies they were divine * we wrote nice things on sticky notes and stuck them on a bunch of doors on our floor! and then got yelled at by management but its fine :) * had SUCH a great lesson con Anne. she has been formerly taught by missionaries and when we stopped by a few weeks ago she said something keeps drawing her back and she'd like to meet with us a...

Week 34: Arizona: hi! yes, you! you are incredible!⚘

hola mis queridos!!! lets start with the spiritual tings :) "God knows all and sees all. In all of eternity, no one will ever know you or care about you more than He does. No one will ever be closer to you than He is. You can pour out your heart to Him and trust Him to send the Holy Ghost and angels to care for you. He demonstrated His ultimate love when He sent His Only Begotten Son to die for you—to be your Savior and your Redeemer!" -President Russell M Nelson just a reminder that God loves you perfectly, more than anyone else ever could. so, do something this week to show Him that you love Him <3  pues twas a berry berry miraculous week :)  * had probably one of my favorite lessons ever with Gloria and her sweet girls <3 we were teaching them how to pray, and so after hermana horton and i showed them they all said a prayer and it was just so precious and the Spirit was so strong. usually visits over there are un poco chaotic but by the end of this...
