Image
Qué tal?! Feliz lunes!  This week went by so quick but also lasted so long lol Overall a pretty uneventful week, some days were tough and some were really great. On to the highlights! • We had exchanges on Tuesday! This was my third exchange with Sister Smith haha we are bassically companions now. However this time she stayed here in Pinetop Lakeside so that was a party!!  • Hna Jenson and I went on our longest run yet, 3.5 miles! I went 2 transfers without running so getting back into it has been a challenge. Our goal is to run to Show Low Lake and back! • Brigitte had an adorable aha moment! She got so excited when she realized she can go into the temple once she is baptizeed to be baptized for her ancestors! So precious! • We biked for the first time!!  • WOODY CAME TO CHURCH! 2ND SUNDAY IN A ROW! WOOO We are really struggling to find people to teach in one of our wards, and a lot of our friends in our other ward are struggling to keep commitments. ...

Why hello there!!! This is going to be short heheh pero here are the highlights: • We put Brigitte on date to be baptized!!! July 9th!!!! She is so excited to have a fresh start, feel clean, and be able to have the Holy Ghost with her :) • We went to the temple and did an endowment session!! I love temples and am so grateful for them. Literally a piece of heaven on Earth. • We had interviews, and during interviews a lady came in looking for the police station. She seemed kinda interested in learning more about the church but we didn't have a chance to talk more so we went searching for her the next day and found the restaurant she works at and got her number yay!!! • WOODY CAME TO CHURCH. A LITERAL MIRACLE. YAY!! • Had a great lesson with Tina and her cute girls. She is excited to read the Book of Mormon!!! I read this in my personal study the other day and really loved it: "He doeth not anything save it be for the benefit of the world; for he loveth the world, ev...

Hi there!!! So I wrote an entire weekly and then accidentally deleted it, super awkward. Welp here's take 2 😅 This week was wonderful!! So many miracles!!! Here are the highlights: * Our friend Mickey came to the Linger Longer yesterday!! It is so cool because we had originally street contacted her husband, but we haven't even seen him since that day and now we are like besties with her haha it is so cool to see how God works <3 * We had Zone Conference/Mission Tour, which was so spiritually nourishing it was wonderful. Elder Alonso from the Seventy came! Hna Jenson and I played a special musical number, A Poor Wayfaring Man of Grief, me on viola and Hna Jenson on piano! He asked us to play it twice so that was terrifying. * We had a super awesome dinner/lesson last night. The Bradys let us invite a few of our friends over so they could meet them and so we could teach a lesson. Brigitte, Brandon, Tina, Beautiful, Elektra, and Connie went!! We had a blast toget...

Week 17: Arizona: Doggie Lama

Hola a todos!! Hope your week was fantabulous!! Here  are some of the highlights from this week: * Not actually really a highlight but on Tuesday we got a text from one of our friends asking if we could visit one of her friends and say a prayer with her because her dog was really sick. So we get to the house and there is a massive dog on all fours just laying on the floor, it was so so sad to watch. And so then we quickly realize that Doggie Lama (this is the dog's name) is not only super sick but is also going to be put down in a few hours. When someone tells you that you just can't leave that would be so rude, so we stayed with her for 4 hours and just comforted her, and then the vet came and we had to watch Doggie Lama get put down, it was so tragic :( the good thing though is that we knew that was where we were supposed to be. Every morning we pray to God to put in our path the people that need us, and He did just that! * We are going to start teaching English...

Such an angel, so grateful for her!!  • Woody texted us and told us he missed meeting with us and wanted to start going to church. We ended up having a FIRE lesson with him and his friend Tom!!! We are so happy that he is progressing!! • We were doing some service for Brigitte when we met a woman named Tina! She asked us questions about our chu...
