Week 20: Arizona: enthusiastic handshakes 🐸
Qué tal?! Feliz lunes!
This week went by
so quick but also lasted so long lol Overall a pretty uneventful week,
some days were tough and some were really great. On to the highlights!
•
We had exchanges on Tuesday! This was my third exchange with Sister
Smith haha we are bassically companions now. However this time she
stayed here in Pinetop Lakeside so that was a party!!
• Hna
Jenson and I went on our longest run yet, 3.5 miles! I went 2 transfers
without running so getting back into it has been a challenge. Our goal
is to run to Show Low Lake and back!
• Brigitte had an
adorable aha moment! She got so excited when she realized she can go
into the temple once she is baptizeed to be baptized for her ancestors!
So precious!
• We biked for the first time!!
• WOODY CAME TO CHURCH! 2ND SUNDAY IN A ROW! WOOO
We
are really struggling to find people to teach in one of our wards, and a
lot of our friends in our other ward are struggling to keep
commitments. So it has been an interesting time. Next week will be
better!
I also forgot to mention that I
finished the Book of Mormon this week! Honestly every time I read it I
learn something new and I love it even more. This time I read it
searching for the doctrine of Christ, so I marked it anytime it
mentioned anything about faith, repentance, baptism, the Holy Ghost, and
enduring to the end. Guys, the doctrine of Christ is literally all over
the Book of Mormon it's incredible. The Book of Mormon is true, it is
the most correct book on the Earth. I love it with my whole heart, I am
so grateful to be able to share this book with the people of Arizona. I
truly would not want to live a day without it. If you haven't read the
Book of Mormon, read it! If you would like a copy of the Book of Mormon,
message me. I promise that there is no book that can bring you closer
to God.
Seek and expect miracles mis amigos! Have a beautiful week!
Love,
Hna Zayas
