Hermana Kayla Zayas' Missionary Experiences in Arizona Scottsdale Mission: 2022-2023

  hello beautiful people!!! • this week i accidentally turned 20. like wow, how did that happen?!! i spent the day on exchanges in via verde with one of my previous companions hna jenson. it was just INCREDIBLE i love Phoenix i really really hope i get to serve there.  • we didn't have a car thursday, friday, saturday, or sunday. SO !! we BIKED. A LOT. its a 1.5 hr bike ride into our area. i am grateful we have bikes but im also even more grateful for our car hahhah  • miracles: we met some really cool people while on bikes so that's a tender mercy! hopefully we will be able to meet with them this week!! • transfer news came out! hna brandt and i are both staying in via linda & we are going to be sister training leaders wooooo this week's quote is a bit longer but it just really touched me this week: "Most of us know that when we do wrong things, we need help to overcome the effects of sin in our lives.  hola mis queridos!! wowww we are at the end of the transfer again!! transfer news comes out this saturday eeeeeek • we were finally able to meet con brisa!! we taught the law of chastity which went super well!! • we passed siegren off to the mountain view sisters, honestly it was un poco sad but she is going to just blossom & continue to progress which we are so excited for:) • accidentally hit 10 months?!?!?!?!? • we helped a member organize her apartment this week. it was so so sooo funny because people here are literally so rich that if they don't need something they will just throw it away. she asked us to throw a brand new tv & vacuum in the dumpster but hna brandt & i sneeked it to our car and found homes for them haha. • the sunsets this week were simply incredible  • hna brandt & i found out our roof is stable enough to hang out on. so for personal & comp study we just climb out of our window & study on the roof:) i was reading in the book of m...

  hello all!!! how are you doing?! how was your week?! i love hearing from you i dont say that enough <3 so uh i got quite sick and didnt leave the apartment until friday :'( feeling a lot better now though!! my roomies & compa & other missionaries took such good care of me though it was quite tender.  HERE'S THE HIGHLIGHT OF THE WEEK THOUGH.  on saturday, cristian & cristina got MARRIED and BAPTIZED!! it was the most beautiful thing ever. the branch did such a good job at making their wedding just as special as their baptism. and then afterwards we had a big party & boy oh boy we partied hard it was so fun. sara came to the baptism and was so touched it was so precious!! that's all ive got this week sorry its so short! this week is going to be so so so good!  invitation this week is to give up something for the Lord. whether you start doing something or stop doing something, show Him you want to be His.  and then let me know what your experie...
