Hermana Kayla Zayas' Missionary Experiences in Arizona Scottsdale Mission: 2022-2023

  i never cease to be amazed by the miracles we see, literally every day, and the people God entrusts us with every single week to love, teach, & testify to. it is honestly so humbling. highlights!! • well this week was transfers!!!! on monday we had a new missionary stay the night with us, her name is hermana juarez and we got to take her around to our visits and lessons which was super fun:) then on tuesday we went to transfers & i got a new roommate!!! her name is sister bolton!!! she is an absolute sweetie pie we all just love her:) and then on wednesday we had to drive to the mission office and drop off sister nelson which was big big sad:(  • well there was a big snowstorm in the mountains so the trainers who came down to the valley to pick up their new companions couldnt drive back up, so there were 6 of us in our apartment for a few days it was a party ahahah • leila got baptized♡ & we met her nanny Alexia @ the baptism & she wants to start taking the l...

  oh what a wonderful week • hna godoy was sicky for a few days, so to keep me from going cray cray for staying home all day we did some mini exchanges with the roommates! i went to sis rose's area for a dinner appt & it was so cool because we had planned to give a certain dinner message but after talking more with him the spirit inspired sis rose to share a certain quote & we ended up having a super spiritual lesson about our divine identity & potential in the middle of a busy restuarant! guys, we can make wherever we are a holy place, no matter how chaotic everything around us is. • only 4 men were creepy at us this week • personal studies were what kept me going this week, like most weeks honestly hahaha. it doesn't matter how many times i read from the book of mormon, i always always always receive answers to my questions & find peace & rest.  • damaris went into the temple for the first time on saturday, wow fue tan maravilloso. i love going to the tem...

  oh hi!! happy monday my lovelies!! • on tuesday we had exchanges & i spent the day with hermana spears!! oh how i love her she is wonderful. she is learning Spanish & so it was so special to teach with her because even though her spanish is limited her testimony is so deep that the spirit makes up the difference. it was such a tender reminder that nothing i say matters unless the spirit is working through me!! • someone fed us salmon & vegetables for dinner this week🤩🤩 as much as i love eating rice, beans, meat, & tortillas every day i wont lie we were pretty excited hahaha • oh my goodness we had the most tender lesson with keily this week. we invited her to pray so she can know for herself this is true, & she was SO EXCITED TO TELL US THAT SHE GOT AN ANSWER. it was so cute because she was telling us that she was praying with as much faith as she could muster to know if this was true, and that she heard the softest whisper that said "si, es verdad", a...
