Week 16: Arizona: Milagros

 hola hola hola!!!!

How are you all doing?! This week was quite amazing. Here are the highlights:

• Jeff went to the temple for the first time on Tuesday which was SO AWESOME! He was baptized for his brother and grandpas, and Sis Richardson and I were baptized for his grandmas! He was so happy it was so precious!! He is so into family history now and is going back to the temple on Thursday :) I just love the temple with my heart <3 and we are so excited because we are going to get to go with our district this month!!

• Hna Sleight went home, that was actually so sad oh my heck 😭😭 pero I got a new companion her name is Hna Jenson!! Such an angel, so grateful for her!!

• Woody texted us and told us he missed meeting with us and wanted to start going to church. We ended up having a FIRE lesson with him and his friend Tom!!! We are so happy that he is progressing!!

• We were doing some service for Brigitte when we met a woman named Tina! She asked us questions about our church and said she would love to Bible Study with us and go to church sometime!! MIRACLE.

• We had lunch at Show Lake on Saturday and the weather was perfect 🤩

• We street contacted this guy and he told us he'd like for us to be his daughter's friends so that was so awesome we are going to drop by this week!

• MIRACLE 🌻: we helped a sister in our ward move, and while I was carrying a box my tag fell off 😓 i was so so sad and we looked for it but couldn't find it, and then I looked for it in the truck when we finished, so I ended up being tagless the rest of the day :( then, the next day I get in the car AND MY TAG IS SITTING IN THE TRUCK IN A SUPER OBVIOUS SPOT that I would've definitely noticed yesterday except it wasn't there yesterday so an angel probably brought it to me😭 Hna Jenson and I were flipping out and it was just such a tender moment because I felt so loved like wow God cares enough about me to give me my tag yet. So that was a miracle.

Speaking of miracles, here is a quote I love (I know its long, its worth it I promise):

"The healing of the withered hand is not nearly as amazing as the existence of the hand in the first place. If it exists, it follows that it can certainly be fixed when it is broken. The greater event is not in its healing but in its creation.

More phenomenal than resurrection is birth. The greater wonder is not that life, having once existed, could come again but that it ever exists at all.

More amazing than raising the dead is that we live at all. A silent heart that beats again is not nearly as amazing as the heart that beats within your breast right now." LAWRENCE E. CORBRIDGE

Isn't that so beautiful? I testify that God is real, He lives, and He ceaseth not to perform miracles today. There are miracles all around us, and if you think there aren't any, I invite you to pray to God for His help to open your eyes to see His miracles and multitude of tender mercies. I promise that if you ask with a sincere heart and real intent, He will answer your prayer.

I love getting your emails! Thank you for your love and support, I appreciate you so much. Have a beautiful week!

Love,

Hna Zayas
