Week 15: Arizona: my allergies are kicking into overdrive!

 Qué tal?!

So lets just jump right into the highlight of the week: JEFF GOT BAPTIZED!!!! He was glowing from happiness, it was the most precious thing ever. I had never seen so many people show up for a baptism, the whole chapel was full it felt like sacrament meeting. He gave a wonderful testimony after being baptized, it was so genuine and sincere he made us all cry and when we started to cry he was like "oh no my allergies!!!" 😅. Hna Sleight and I keep telling each other how blessed we feel to not only know Jeff but to have been able to teach him the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He is just so excited about the Gospel and so willing to turn his life to Christ. I thank God for placing him in our path, his story is a testimony to me that the field is white, ready to harvest.

On Sunday Jeff was confirmed a member of the Church and was ordained a Priest! He was just so happy and so excited I wish you could have been there. Then we got a text later that day with a picture of his temple recommend!! We are going to the temple with him on Tuesday, he is just so excited to be baptized for his brother!!! Life is so good at the moment.

Besides that, this week was quite wonderful. We had some lessons, did some swing dancing with the youth and got to do some service!!

On a sadder note, Hna Sleight left me this morning :( i am so sad but excited for my new companion! She doesn't even know how great of an area she is coming to!! I get to meet her tomorrow!!!

I am so grateful to be a missionary. It isn't always easy but it is the most fulfilling thing I have ever done. If you don't know if you should go on a mission, prepare yourself and just go. You will not regret it.

Have a beautiful week!! I love hearing from you guys!!

Los amo!!
